Wilma Faye Lockhart Doss

Wilma Faye Lockhart Doss, 85, of Brownwood, and formerly of Crane and Odessa, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, October 8,2024, in Brownwood.

She was born on March 5, 1939, in Colorado City, Texas, to Edward and Dollie Moore. Wilma was the manager of operator services for AT&T and retired after 32 and half years of service. She was an active member of Parkview Church of Christ in Odessa for over 25 years, the Mary Street Church of Christ while living in Crane, and currently an active member of Austin Avenue Church of Christ in Brownwood, TX. Wilma loved spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Wilma was preceded in death by parents, E.H. & Dollie Moore; sister, Helen Craig; brother, Larry E. Moore; husbands, Don H. Lockhart and Clayton E. "Fiddler" Doss; grandson, Chris; and granddaughter, Carrah.

Survivors include her children, Debbie & husband, Keith Martin, Kenny & wife, Rebecca Doss, Bob Doss, Barbara & husband, James Cook, Trisha & husband, Abel Carrasco; sister, Trilba Jane Ward; grandchildren, Kayla & husband, Chris Williamson, Brandi & husband, Tom Klutts, Clay & wife, Eden Doss, Haley & husband, Jace Young, Phillip & wife, Meka Cook, Tiphanie Cook, Nick Cook, Natalie & Adam Carrasco; great grandchildren, Cambry, Harper Faye & Tyler Williamson, Dee, Kason, Ladon & Brynlee Klutts, Everli, Briggs, Lillian, Claire, Trent, Samarah, London.

Visitation will be held from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at the Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home in Crane. Graveside services will be held at 11:00am Friday, October 11, 2024, at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa, Texas.
