Vicente Galindo Rios

Vicente Galindo Rios, 70, of McCamey, passed away at his home on Friday, November 29, 2019.

Vicente was born on April 5, 1949, in Mexico. He was a longtime resident of McCamey and was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Vicente loved to play the guitar, harmonica, and sing. He never met a stranger and enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, but most of all his grandkids.
Vicente loved being a truck driver and was a retired driver for K & S trucks in McCamey.

Vicente was preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Dolores Rios; and a son, Jose Vicente Rios.

He is survived by his loving wife, Guadalupe Rios of McCamey; his daughter, Guadalupe Kneupper of McCamey; three grandchildren, Dominique Anguiano of Eunice NM, Jose Rios Garcia of McCamey, and Augustine Rios of Hobbs, NM; and nine great grandchildren.

Rosary will be said at 7:00 pm on Monday, December 2, 2019, at the Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home Chapel in McCamey. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 3, 2019, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery.
