Valentina "Tina" Rodriguez

Valentina “Tina” Rodriguez, 64, of McCamey, passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2020, in San Angelo, Texas.

Tina was born on May 18, 1956, in McCamey. She was a lifelong resident of McCamey and was a homemaker. Tina was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
She enjoyed her time outdoors and had enjoyed hunting and fishing with her husband Romulo. Tina was known for her wonderful cooking and some claim she cooked the best burgers in town. Tina loved her family, especially her children and grandchildren.

Tina was preceded in death by parents, Pablo and Dominga Rodriguez; her husband, Romulo Baiza; and her brother, Sabino Flores.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Romolo Baiza of San Antonio, Randy Baiza and his wife Kim of Kerrville, Sabino Castaneda of McCamey, and Pablo Baiza and his wife Kayleigh of McCamey, Lupe Baiza and her husband Mario Marquez of Kerrville, and Isadoria Bermudez and her husband Jimmy of McCamey; sisters, Guadalupe Rios, Rosa Villegas, Maria Rodriguez, Sylvia Baker, Jessie Martinez, all of McCamey, and Maria Ellena Rodriguez of New Mexico; brothers, Joe Rodriguez of Odessa, Freddy Rodriguez of McCamey, and Tony Rodriguez of New Mexico; 24 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Rosary will be said on Sunday, December 20, 2020, at 7:00 pm at the Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home Chapel in McCamey. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 on Monday, December 21, 2020, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jr. Martinez, Mike Williams, Joe Garcia, Mark Baker, Nelson Bermudez, and Jayson Pagan. Honorary Pallbearers will be Adam Barrera, Joe Rodriguez, Lupe Villegas, and Pablo Villegas.

Due to current health crisis, the Catholic Church is only allowing 50 people to attend. Please allow the family members only at the church and meet the family at the cemetery for the graveside services following the Mass.
