TREVA PAULINE WHITE KIMBROUGH
IRAAN: Treva Pauline White Kimbrough, a longtime resident of Iraan passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2009 in the Iraan General Hospital.
She was born on August 31, 1910 in Pickett, Arkansas to Minnie and Arby Pemberton. Treva moved to McCamey, Texas in 1927 with her family. A few years later she then moved to Iraan.
She is survived by her sons, Jimmy White and his wife Jimmie Dea of Sherwood, Arkansas, and Butch Kimbrough and his wife Lavine of Iraan; and also a granddaughter that she raised, Sheila Cook of Cypress, Texas; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren.
Mrs. Kimbrough was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Kimbrough; two daughters, Marion White and Jackie Ice; one son, Donald Gene White; one sister, Maureen Perry; and one brother, Alfus Pemberton.
Funeral services were held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 17, 2009 at the First Baptist Church in Iraan with Reverend Mike Wright officiating. Burial followed in the Restland Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
