Tommie Elaine Hatfield

February 2, 1949 — November 16, 2024

Tommie Elaine Hatfield, 75, of Iraan, Texas went to be with the Lord on November 16, 2024.

She was born in Odessa, Texas on February 02, 1949 to parents Tommie Spencer McCorcle and Debbie Lois McCorcle. She married Jerry E. Hatfield on February 15, 1980. They moved to Iraan the same year. 

It was Tommie's call and vision to spread the love of Jesus to those incarcerated. As an ordained minister, Tommie and her husband, Jerry, founded Southwest Texas Prison Ministry and Family Outreach in 1994, they also founded Reconcilers Motorcycle Ministry in 2004. Southwest Texas Prison Ministry and Family Outreach received the Texas Governor‘s Award presented by George W. Bush and thousands of incarcerated inmates and their families have been blessed by these ministries. 

Tommie Hatfield is preceded in death by her husband, Jerry E. Hatfield, her father, Tommie Spencer McCorcle, her mother Debbie Lois McCorcle and her sister, Glenda Earl Jones. She is survived by her daughter, Peggy Quilodran and son Robby Quilodran. She is also survived by her cousin Sherry McCorcle, six grandchildren, Lauren, Caiti, Robbie Jay, Micah, Jatlyn, and Bella and 11 great grandchildren, Eamon, Zander, Mikey, Oliver, Ezikio, Melody, Delilah, Starr, Oryonn, Keathley and Trip. Tommie is also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

A viewing and visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd at 9:30am at Iraan Civic Center, 9279 Alley Oop Lane, Iraan, Texas. The funeral service will follow at 11am at the Civic Center. Tommie will be interred at Restland Cemetery on Highway 349 west of Iraan.
