CRANE: Thomas Eldridge Chipp, Sr, 72 of Crane, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2009 at the Crane Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
Mr. Chipp was born on March 10, 1937 in Hammonton, N.J. He was a retired automotive mechanic. He was a Navy Veteran, serving for nine years. He had lived in Crane since 1981; and he was a member of the Episcopalian Church.
He is survived by one son, Thomas E. Chipp, Jr of Levittown, Pennsylvania; two daughters, Barbara Fortin of Tacoma, Washington, and Kathleen Gregg; a brother, John Chipp Yehl of Florida; one sister, Mimi Yehl Weisel of Hammonton, NJ; and 5 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
