Teresa Velasquez

On Wednesday, December 12, 2018, Teresa Velasquez, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister, passed away at the age of 75.

Teresa will be lovingly remembered by her children Anabel and her husband Leroy, Tony and his wife Monica, Mark and his wife Cristina, and Jennifer. Teresa will also be forever remembered by her 15 grandchildren, Christina, Isaac, Celestina, Hayley, Josiah, Quentin, Paige, Viktorija, Halen, Frankie, Abby, Makayla, Austin, Charisma, and Brandon. She is also survived by her 16 great grandchildren; her sisters, Manuela Velasquez, Martina Cobarrubio, and Connie Plata.

Teresa was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest B. Velasquez Sr. and her son Ernest Velasquez Jr.

A Rosary will be held on Friday, December 14, 2018 at 7:00 pm at the Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 15, 2018, at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Crane. Burial will follow in the Crane County Cemetery. Her grandsons will serve as her pallbearers.
