Teresa Tarin

Maria Teresa Tarin of Crane, Texas was called to Heaven on May 25, 2022. Visitation will be open to the public from 2pm-9pm on Sunday, May 29, 2022, and on Monday, May 30, 2022, from 9am-9pm at the Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home Chapel in Crane.

Funeral services will be held at 10am on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at the Shaffer-Nichols Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Crane Memorial Cemetery. 

Teresa was born in Camargo, Chihuahua México to Jose and Carmen Moya de Anaya on January 28, 1947. 

Teresa enjoyed spending her Sundays with her church congregate, drinking cherry limeades, and watching “Caso Cerrado” and “Rosa de Guadalupe”. Her days always started with a hot cup of coffee and reading her scriptures from the Bible.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Leopoldo Tarin, Sr. , sons Noel Jay Tarin , Joel Ray Tarin , brothers Rosalio Moya, Raphael Moya, Roberto Moya, Oscar Moya and little brother and sister. 

She is survived by brother Jesus Moya and sister Hermila Moya. Her three sons Leopoldo Tarin, Jr. , George Tarin and wife Janie Quiroz,  William Tarin and wife Edelmira Tarin, four daughters Marybel Holguin and husband Leonard Holguin, Melinda Zuniga and husband Francisco Zuniga, Belinda Gallegos and husband Mauro Carrasco, Susie Aranda and husband Miguel Aranda and extended family members. Teresa was blessed with twenty-four grandchildren and twenty-six great grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Jose Tarin, Adrian Tarin, Calix Cortez, Roman and Xavier Huertas, Paquito Zuniga, Alfredo Garza, Jr. , and Daron Aranda.

The family would like to offer their sincere and heartfelt thanks to those who have extended their support, love and prayers during this difficult time.
