Tammy Rene Vogel, 60, of Rankin Texas gained her heavenly wings on February 5, 2023.

Tammy was born on March 22, 1962 in Monahans Texas to Billy Kyle Vogel Sr and Kathy Jean Vogel (Moody). Tammy was raised and spent her childhood in Monahans Texas before moving to Bangs Texas around 1971. Tammy was known for her kindness toward all she met. Tammy never met anyone she wasn’t willing to help. It was once said that Tammy had never met a stranger, only a friend she was going to make. Tammy had a deep love for her family, animals, and plants.

Tammy is survived by her spouse: Larry Gibbs of Rankin TX. Children: Jerry Powell and wife Paula of Colorado Springs CO, Kathryn (Missie) Gebhardt of Brownwood TX, and Angela Sides of Monahans TX. Siblings: Billy Vogel Jr of Bangs TX, Sharon Petty and husband Burt of Bangs Tx, Karen Taylor and husband Randy of Lake Brownwood TX, Bobby Vogel and wife Melissa of Rankin TX. Grandchildren: Dylan Powell, Christian Mills, Nicholas Gebhardt, Jaidan Gebhardt, Joey Sides and Rylee (Rosie) Sides. Great Grandchild: Braxton Mills. Tammy is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Tammy is preceded in death by her parents Billy and Kathy as well as her brother Grover Wayne Vogel.

Visitation will be open to all Friday, February 10, 2023, at the Faith Assembly of God from 5pm-7pm. Graveside services will be at the Rankin Cemetery on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 11am.
