Shirley Wilson, 73 of McCamey, passed away on Friday, September 9, 2011 at her home in McCamey.
Graveside services will be held at 5 PM on Sunday, September 11, 2011 at the Resthaven Cemetery in McCamey with services under the direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
Shirley was born on January 11, 1938 in Mount Vernon, Texas. She was a homemaker and a longtime resident of McCamey.
She is survived by three daughters, Juanita Meyers and her husband Charlie of Austin, Tammy Thomason and her husband Albert of Noble, Oklahoma, and Tina Wilson and partner Eva Garcia of San Angelo; four sons, James Churchwell and wife Rosemary of Midland, Lewis Churchwell and wife Cathy of Indiana, Dale Wilson and Donnie Wilson and wife Becky all of McCamey; her mother, Lella Eason of Gustin, TX; two brothers, Dewayne Eason of Truth or Consequences, NM, and Terry Eason of Gustin, Texas; a sister Lanita Parks of Palestine, TX; 16 grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
