Sheryl Sue Taylor

October 8, 1966 — January 2, 2010

McCamey: Sheryl Sue Taylor of McCamey passed away on January 2, 2010. She was born October 8, 1966 in Rankin Texas to Sharon Myers who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her oldest brother Daron Earp. Raised from an early age by Charles and Glynda Taylor of McCamey Texas. Glynda Taylor also preceded her in death. Sheryl graduated McCamey High School in 1986. She worked for the McCamey Hospital for 18 years. Sheryl was a loving soul having many friends who loved her. Sheryl leaves behind a son Alexander Ryan Taylor, a daughter Britnee Nicole Taylor, a loving companion of 10 years Joe Louis Montoya. She leaves sisters Connie Ramey of Waco, Texas; Debra Crossland of McCamey, Texas; Rondia Taylor San Antonio, Texas; Donna Digilio of Austin, Texas; Cindy Terry of Bridgeport, Texas, brothers Ray Hudec of Austin, Texas; Allen Taylor of San Antonio, and loving father Charles Taylor of McCamey, Texas. She also left behind a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A word of prayer in which Sheryl would say to friends and family would read, I keep the world of God hidden in my heart and each day when I rise with prayer my day I start, I try to fill my mind with his undying truth so that throughout the day I'm careful how I choose. I need discernment to apply his word to all I do and when I'm going thru a trial I know his word hold true. The nature of temptation makes sin look heavenly. Sometimes it's hard to recognize when it's the enemy. That's when I reach into that hiding place where Satan has no part. Deep in my soul where Gods true word is hidden in my heart.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday January 5, 2010, 2:00 P.M. at the East Side Baptist church with the reverend Murray Saunders officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Shaffer-Nichols funeral home.
