Sharon Kay Richardson

Sharon Kay Richardson, 77, of Crane, passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2023, in Crane.

Sharon was born on December 16, 1945, in Mena, AR. She married the love of her life, William “Bill” Richardson on March 28, 1961, in Raton, NM. Sharon was a longtime resident of Crane and was a Christian. She worked 15+ years for the Crane Independent School District cafeteria. Sharon loved sharing stories with her grandchildren.

Sharon was preceded in death by her husband Bill Richardson and daughter, Diane Petree. She is survived by her daughter, Danna Jo Treat and her husband Larry of Eunice, NM; Brother, Lester Bates of Mullin, TX; 5 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home from 9:00am to 8:00pm.  A Funeral service will be held Friday, July 14, 2023 at 10:00am at Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home Chapel in Crane.  Burial will follow in the Crane County Cemetery.
