Sergio Salcedo Jr. “Pelon” fought a long battle against COVID that irreversibly damaged his lungs. He was going to be receiving a lung transplant soon. However, he has received the best lungs and beautiful, white wings. He went to his eternal home with our Heavenly Father on December 4, 2021.
He was born on November 23, 1984 in Rankin, TX. He is a 2003 graduate of Crane High School. After graduating, he attended TSTC to study diesel technology. Thereafter, he attended UTPB and earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. Sergio loved to travel, spend time with friends, work to maintain his business, but above all, he cherished spending time with his family.
He is survived by his parents, Sergio and Florencia Salcedo, three brothers, Jose Luis, Richard, and Emanuel, his two sisters, Janet and Beatris, his ex-wife, Angelic Salcedo,(who never left his side per his wishes) their children, Layla, Hollywood, and Austin whom he loved dearly.
Sergio’s giving and loving heart impacted many. He never hesitated to lend a helping hand to anyone, friend, family, or stranger. His contagious laugh and smile brightened the days of many. His selfless heart will be missed until we meet again.
