Russell Jay (Rusty) Hicks, 54, of Crane, Texas passed away on May 22, 2017.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 26, 2017, at the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Crane with Pastor Tim King officiating.
A private graveside service will be held at the Crane County Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
Rusty was born in Kermit, Texas on December 31, 1962. He graduated from Crane High School in 1981. After graduation, he worked for Arco Gas Plant for numerous years.
Recently he worked with his company H & W Services in Crane. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, and arrowhead hunting.
Rusty is survived by his parents, Bonnie Jean Hicks and Leon Wayne Hicks of Del Rio; siblings Debbie Jones of Van, Donna Roussarie of Midland, and Randy Hicks of Seminole; his children, Jayla Hicks, of Midland, Ruston Hicks of Midland, Cliff Hicks of Lubbock, and Bowen Roussarie of Midland; grandchildren, Regan, River, and Rori Hicks of Midland, and Madison, Payton, and Landrey Greene of Midland.
