Ramiro Urias Sr., 54, of McCamey, passed away on Monday, August 21, 2017, in Odessa.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, August 23, 2017, at the Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home Chapel in McCamey with Pastor Filo officiating. Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery with arrangements under the care and direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
Ramiro was born on December 27, 1962, in Mexico. He was a longtime resident of McCamey. He ran the R & R Tire shop in McCamey until his illness. He enjoyed ranching and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Vicky Acosta of McCamey; five sons, Ramiro Urias Jr. and Raymond Urias both of Odessa, Abel Armendarez, David Mooney, and Eric Mooney, all of McCamey; three daughters, Gracie Urias of Fredericksburg, Amanda Garza and Erica Mooney, both of McCamey; five brothers, Lazaro Urias of California, Rigo Urias of Odessa, Pablo Urias and Israel Urias both of McCamey, and Victor Urias of Austin; six sisters, Hortencia Madrid of California, Lourdes Garcia and Gloria Rejino both of McCamey, Rosa Salinas of Odessa, Maria Moore of Arizona, and Maribel Urias of Odessa; and 14 grandchildren.
