Rachel Tovar of Crane, Texas departed us on October 1, 2021, to join her dearly departed father, Favian Tovar.
Rachel is survived by her two children which made up the entirety of her whole world: her son, Christopher Nuno and Karissa Nuno of Crane. She is also survived by her mother, Manuela Tovar of Crane; her two brothers; Jody Tovar of Boerne, Tx. and Patrick Tovar of San Antonio, Tx. Rachel was not only a beloved mother and daughter but was also adored by her godchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Rachel’s love was captivating and selfless. She enjoyed spoiling her family with her homemade treats, playing card games, rooting for her favorite football team, the New England Patriots (Tom Brady, pre-Bucs) and the company of her cherished Nola. Her love radiated through everything she did, always willing to give her loved ones anything they needed.
Her laughter was pure, her off-note singing would bring joy to your soul and her smile would make your day. She will be greatly missed but her loved ones find solace knowing she is no longer suffering and is living her eternal life.
Rosary will be said at 7pm on Monday, October 4, 2021, at the Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
Funeral Mass will be said at 10am on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church with burial to follow in the Crane County Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
