Pete F. Gomez was called to be with his Heavenly Father on Monday, March 23, 2020. He is preceded in death by his parents, Luz and Manuela Gomez, two daughters, Nancy and Lorena, and a sister, Sandy Nunez.
He was a devoted Catholic where he was active in many ministries, including his service as a fourth degree knight for the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his loving wife, Katy of McCamey; son Peter and wife Emma Gomez of Midland, TX; son Mike and wife Rita Gomez of McCamey, TX; daughter Velma and husband Cruz Gomez of McCamey, TX; and son Adam and wife Elodia Gomez of McCamey, TX. He was lovingly known as “Grandpa” or “Popo” to 14 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother, Luz Gomez Jr. of Odessa; and a sister, Linda Huerta and her husband Manuel of San Angelo; and numerous nieces, and nephews.
