Paula Jean Kinnard, 74, passed away on November 13, 2017, in Andrews, Texas.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, November 17, 2017 at the Fairmont Park Church of Christ in Midland with Don Mitchell officiating. Graveside services will follow at 1:00 PM at the Restland Cemetery in Iraan, Texas.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home of Crane.
Paula was born in Lancaster, California, to Annabelle Maxwell and Bernard Boyd on September 2, 1943.
Paula retired from the Midland County Sheriffâs Office in January 2011 after 13 years of devoted service. She always said that she wished that she had started earlier in life with the Sheriffâs office. She was passionate about her job and really loved her coworkers. She spent her whole life devoted to her family and her work. She was a great Christian woman and strived to be a great role model and support for her family. She was very independent and strong and strong in her convictions. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her three children, Debora Kinnard Turpin (Husband, Bruce Turpin) of Yukon, Oklahoma (Children Summer Caprice Turpin Howard, Adam Ian Turpin, Grandchildren Caprice Howard and Elmer Howard), Martin Jacob Kinnard (Wife, Shari Kinnard) (Children, Brenden Stevens and Christopher Kinnard), Christine Kinnard Green (Children, Christian William Green and Destiny Shyann Green) and Sister, Pamela Boyd Rowe of Hawley (Children Regina Kolkhorst and husband Mason and Tammy Rowe, Grandchildren Kaden Young And Drew Young), Cousin Sondra McLeroy (Husband Clint McLeroy, Children Misty Brodsky, (Child, Andrew) of Florida and Mike McLeroy (wife, Patty, Kids-Matt and Ashley) of Lewisville, Texas, Cousin Dwayne Maxwell (Wife Dorothy) of Albuqurque, New Mexico.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob Kinnard of Iraan, Texas and her parents Annabelle and Bernard Boyd of Iraan, Texas and her Uncle Johnny Maxwell and his wife âMugsâ Maxwell of Hobbs, New Mexico.
