Policarpo "Paul" Sandoval, 79, of Crane, passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2013, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.
Rosary will be said at 7pm on Sunday, August 25, 2013, at the Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home Chapel in Crane. Funeral Mass will be held at 11am on Monday, August 26, 2013, at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church with Father Laurent Mvondo officiating. Burial will follow in the Crane County Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the VFW Post 4372. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
Paul was born on January 26, 1934, in Brackettville, Texas. He was an Army Veteran, and had worked as a truck driver for Ruthco for over 30 years. Paul was a member of the Good Shepherd Catholic Church.
Survivors include his daughters, Malissa Heredia of Crane, Terri Suniga of Odessa, Corrina Rivas of Crane, and Adonica Nunez of Odessa; his brothers, Jesus Sandoval and George Sandoval Jr. of Port Arthur, Juan Sandoval and Pete Sandoval of Crane, and Joe Sandoval of Brackettville; a sister, Elaine LeBlanc of Port Arthur; 17 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.
