Patricia Kennedy High, 69, of McCamey, departed from this world to be with Our Lord and Savior on Tuesday, August 5, 2014. Although we know she is in the loving arms of her late parents, R.R.”Slick” and Annie Ruth Kennedy; grandparents, Bill and Jewel DeBusk; Adopted grandson Roddy Langevin she will be greatly missed by those she left behind.
She is survived by her adoring husband, Carl Leo High, Jr; Her loving Children, Pam Brooks(Woody), Becky Knight(Ricky), Debbie Dewey, Kelly King(Kenny), Shawna Treadwell(Dartel), and Angie Wilson; Her brother Danny Kennedy(Anna) and sister Karla Mckee; Her Grandchildren Casie, Chase, Chelsea, Tiffanee, Jena, Jessica, Max, Chandler, Gavin, Cade, Cassidy, Sydnee, Sage, and Scotlyn; and her precious great-grand children Jaiden, Leeah, Saylor, Matty, and Sarah; Life long treasured friends Lou Walters, Perk Moore, Charlotte Jones, and Debbie McDole; and many nieces, nephews and other people that filled Pat’s heart with love and laughter.
Pat was well known for her ease in frequent conversation with even a total stranger, Throughout her life she maintained a sweet and simple demeanor that won the trust and hearts of so many around her, who are still being changed by her constant nurturing love and faith, Her signature gift of joy was shown through her constant smiling, laughter and love. We will miss the smile that lit up our Hearts, the hugs that made us feel the love that came straight from her heart, but mostly we will miss the joy that came from being in the presence of the wonderful woman she was and will always be in our hearts.
The memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday August 9, at East Side Baptist Church, 619 E 9th Street, McCamey, Texas.
