Ola Horne

Ola Mae Horne, 73, of Iraan, passed away on Friday, December 23, 2016, at the Iraan General Hospital.

Ola Mae was born on December 18, 1943, in Lubbock, Texas. She married Roger Horne on March 16, 1963, in Iraan. Together they have made Iraan their home since 1963.
Ola Mae was a member of the First Baptist Church, and Eastern Star.
She was a homemaker and loved her family, especially taking care of her kids and grandchildren. Her family was so very important to her.
She also loved to travel and go camping with Roger in their travel trailer, and spending summers in Colorado.

Ola Mae is survived by her loving husband, Roger Horne of Iraan; two sons, John Thomas Horne of Beaumont, and Shawn Leslie Horne of San Antonio; one daughter, Carmen Ilene Bryant and her husband Travis Russell of Snyder; two grandchildren, Joshua Andrew Morrell and Rena Autumn Morrell.

The family will be receiving friends at the Shaffer-Nichols Chapel in Iraan on Tuesday, December 27, 2016, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, December 28, 2016, at the First United Methodist Church in Iraan. Burial will follow in the Restland Cemetery with arrangements under the care and direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
