Natalie Enette Flanigan was born on April 13, 1964, in Hollywood, California, to her loving parents, Earnestine Vaden and Lee Flanigan.
From a young age, Natalie possessed a heart filled with immense love and compassion for others. She spent her formative years attending grade school in Detroit, Michigan, where she developed a strong work ethic and a desire to succeed. Natalie's passion for learning led her to pursue college courses at Dorsey School of Business, where she honed her skills and discovered her talent in doing hair. Despite facing challenges in her early adulthood, Natalie made a life-changing decision to re-dedicate herself to Christ. This spiritual awakening became a turning point in her life, as she resolved to make the most of every moment and embrace the love and joy that faith brought her.
Natalie crossed paths with the love of her life, Ronald McCoy. They exchanged vows and embarked on a journey of togetherness, making a commitment to show up for their family and create a legacy of love and support. If you ever been around these two you quickly identified they needed their own TV show. Natalie's radiant smile and infectious laughter were her greatest assets. She had an adventurous spirit and found joy in exploring new places, attending social gatherings, and savoring delicious meals at her favorite restaurants. She embraced technology to stay connected with her beloved grandbabies through FaceTime, cherishing every precious moment shared with them. Natalie had a knack for bringing people together through her warm conversations, and she delighted in sharing her treasured recipes with loved ones.
Natalie is survived by her devoted husband, Ronald McCoy, with whom she shared a deep and abiding love. Together, they built a life filled with cherished memories and unwavering support for one another. She is preceded in death by her parents Lee Flanigan and Earnestine Vaden, Her Sister Heather Jeffery and Brother Ricky Woods.
She will be lovingly remembered by her Aunt-Mother Gala Melton and four beautiful children, Jeffery Chatman-Daughter in Love LaTayshia, Sharda Biggers (Landon), Chevis Flanigan, and Charlie Bernard. Natalie's children were the light of her life, and she took immense pride in their accomplishments and the individuals they became. Her role as a grandmother brought her immeasurable happiness. Natalie adored her grandchildren, Amaria Flanigan, Jeffery Chatman Jr. (JC), Julius Chatman, Jalee Chatman, Josiah Chatman, Jalainey Nyla Chatman, London Biggers, Kaelea, Ter’rin, and Nova.
