Nancy June Martinez

Nancy June Martinez, loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and friend was called to her eternal home in heaven on November 9, 2024, after a long-fought battle with Pancreatic Cancer. 

Nancy June was born on June 18, 1947, in McCamey, Upton County, Texas to Carl and Dorothy Engel. 

She is preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Debra Chandler.

She is survived by her Loving husband, David Martinez, her children Nattalie Haynes of McCamey, Texas and her son Ronald Ervine (Cathy) of Iraan, Texas.

She is also survived by seven (7) grandchildren, twenty-six (26) great grandchildren and five (5) great great-grandchildren.

Also survived by her sister, Cornelia Nelson (Hubert) of Tallahassee, Florida, her sister Donna Renn (Michael) of Ozark, Alabama, her brother Paul Chipman (Teresa) of Ozark, Alabama and her sister Sammy Joe Woods (Jack) of Evans, Georgia. 

Nancy June (also known as June Bug) loved her family and will be missed but we know that she is whole again and in the arms of our Lord and that gives us comfort.

The family would like to thank everyone who donated money during a benefit held on behalf of her fight against Cancer. It was greatly appreciated. 

Graveside Services will be held on November 18, 2024, at 11 am at Resthaven Cemetery in McCamey, Texas
