Mary Rejino, 84, of McCamey, passed away on Monday, October 8, 2012 at the McCamey Hospital.
Rosary will be held at 7pm on Thursday, October 11, 2012 at the Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home Chapel in McCamey. Funeral Mass will be held at 2pm on Friday, October 12, 2012 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in McCamey with Father Pablo Mata officiating. Burial will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery with arrangements under the direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
Mary was born on September 5, 1928 in Presidio, Texas. She was a homemaker, and longtime resident of McCamey. She was a very active member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was a member of the choir, a CCD teacher at the church, and was a lay minister. She also donated her time at the McCamey Senior Citizens. She was preceded in death by two brothers; and two sisters.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond N. Rejino of McCamey; two sons, Tommy D. Rejino of McCamey, and Pete Sarabia of Crane; a daughter, Irma Rubio of Denver City; a sister, Eloisa Casias of Odessa; 12 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
