Mario Delgado

Mario Delgado was born in Ozona, Texas on August 12, 1963, and was called home on January 5, 2022.

Mario was raised in Sheffield, TX and he graduated from Iraan High School and Denton College. He was passionate about playing his many guitars and singing. Mario was a hunter, fisherman, and loved grilling and entertaining many friends and family.

Mario never met a stranger he didn’t know. He was a fun-loving, generous and a caring man. He knew a lot of folks around West Texas.

Mario’s father Gilbert Delgado Sr, mother Delfina Delgado and his oldest brother Ruben Delgado are receiving him in heaven.

He is survived by his children: Casey Delgado, Brandon Delgado Skylar Delgado, and Nicholas Delgado; grandchildren: Tra Jarrell, Blaine Jarrell,
Mario Cruz Delgado, and Noah Delgado. He is also survived by his siblings: Gilbert Delgado Jr, Irma Delgado, Mary Jo Cruz; and many nieces and nephews who loved their Uncle Mario.

Graveside services will be at 12pm on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at the Sheffield Cemetery.
