Maria Cornelia Gomez, also known as “Nely”, passed away on November 1, 2020 in Midland Memorial Hospital.
She was born on September 17, 1948 and is survived by her husband Miguel B. Gomez from Crane and her children, they are Miguel Gomez and wife Cecilia, Leticia Easley and husband Kylabe, Delia Calderon and husband Joe, Joel Gomez and wife Claudia, Ruth Ortega and husband Felipe. Her grandchildren are Alyssia P. Urquieta, Leila N. Ortega, Jaira N. Ortega, Merida A. Ortega, Kyler D. Easley, Daniela J. Easley, Jaden Gomez, Miguel Gomez and Eduardo Gomez.
Maria moved with her husband and children from California to Crane, Texas in the early 80’s. She came to love her little town of Crane, where her children graduated from. She was a hospitable, happy, caring woman, who dearly loved her grandchildren. She is mostly known for her love of Jehovah God and the bible. She will be missed.
