Maria Anela Flores

On January 27, 2025 God gained a beautiful angel, Maria Anela Flores. She was born in Acuna, Mexico born to Eugenia Sanchez Rodriquez.

She met the love of her life, Armando D Flores in Acuna in 1964. Then they moved to Del Rio and were married on June 3, 1965. In 1966, after having their first child they moved to California for work. They then moved to Crane in 1976 where they raised their family. Maria worked over the years for Dr Schul’s Dentistry, Crane ISD and National Foundry as a custodian. She enjoyed spending time with her family loving on her grandchildren and great grandchildren. When she was not with her grand babies she could be found playing BINGO, during football season she was watching the games to see if her numbers hit or in Las Vegas in the casinos.

She is preceded in death by her grandma, mom and sister Maria Ynez Sanchez (Ruke)

She is survived by her husband, Armando D Flores; daughter Janie Flores; two sons Armando Flores, wife Andrea, Ricky Flores, girlfriend Marisa; Grandsons, Anthony, Sodapop, Ponyboy, Mark, Julian and granddaughters Desirea and Jadyn; 6 Great Grandchildren; Sister Anastacia Soto, husband Fernando; Nieces, Olga & Debbie, nephew John; and Cousin Melinda Stephens.

The viewing will be held from 11am to 7pm and Rosary will be at 7pm, Thursday January 30, 2025, and funeral service will be on Friday January 31, 2025 at 11am at the Nichols Funeral Home. Burial to follow at the Crane County Cemetery.
