MARETA DON McWILLIAMS
CRANE: Mareta Don McWilliams, 75 of Crane, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2009 at the Hospice House in Odessa.
Memorial services were held on Sunday at the Church of Christ in Crane. Arrangements are under the direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
Mareta was born on August 7, 1933 in Abilene, Texas. She had lived in Crane since 1948. She was a member of the Mary Street Church of Christ, and was a homemaker. Mareta was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Wayne McWilliams on July 11, 2005.
She is survived by her son, Victor "Vic" Wayne McWilliams, Jr. and his wife Kerrie of Crane; two daughters, Gayla Lynn Plunk and her husband Dean of Garland, and Debra Gean McFarland of Crane; six grandchildren, Jimmi Jo Oo and her husband Soe; Marcus Lynn Byrd, Mitchell Lynn Byrd, Kirstie Ann McWilliams, Leland Wayne McWilliams, and Melinda Plunk; and three great-grandchildren, Nathaniel Oo, Abby Oo, and Kaeden Byrd.
