Marco Arturo Lomeli

Marco Arturo Lomeli, 7, of Crane, passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2012 at the Covenant Children's Hospital in Lubbock.

Rosary will be said at 7pm on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at the Crane High School Auditorium. Funeral Mass will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at the Auditorium. Burial will follow in the Crane County Cemetery with arrangements under the care and direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Jaime Lomeli, Hector Murguia, Jr. Murguia, and Lalo Murguia.

Marco was born on September 8, 2004 in Odessa, Texas. He had lived in Crane all of his life. He was a student at Crane Elementary School. He loved playing all sports as well as fishing. Marco was really a lovable child, always telling everyone that he loved them.
Marco was preceded in death by his grandmother, Maria Murguia.

He is survived by his loving family, his parents, Arturo and Laura Lomeli; his sister Maria Lomeli; grandparents, Heliodoro Murguia, Pablo and Victoria Lomeli, all of Crane, and his great grandfather, Luis Lomeli of Mexico; and numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
