Manuela G. Urias, 97, of Crane, passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at her home.
Rosary will be said at 7:30 pm on Friday, July 6, 2018, at the Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home Chapel in Crane. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, July 7, 2018, at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church with burial to follow in the Crane County Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
Manuela was born on April 22, 1921, in Brogado, Texas. She was a homemaker and a 30 year resident of Crane.
She was a devoted member of the Good Shepherd Church. Manuela spent time in prayer daily for her family and friends. She was talented in crocheting, sewing, and did some sewing for the public. She loved her flowers, plants, and her trees. Manuela was an excellent cook as well.
Manuela was preceded in death by her husband, Joaquin V. Urias;
Son, Eulalo Urias, and a grandson, Noe Urias.
She is survived by two daughters, Eva Gutierrez of Crane, Aida Casillas of Bastrop; one son, Florentino Urias of Odessa; 16 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
