Manuel U. Montoya

Manuel U. Montoya Lara, was a caring and dedicated husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.  He left this world on October 8, 2022 at the age of 70.  

He was born to Manuel Montoya Salcido and Lydia Lara Holgin in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico.

He married his wife of 49 years, Alma Silvia Ramos Valenzuela, on March of 1973.  Together, they had 3 children: Sonia, Sandra and Sergio.  

They  moved to McCamey in 1980, making it their long-time residence, and where he fulfilled many dreams and projects. 

Manuel’s priority was always the well-being of his family, and cherished all moments surrounded by those he loved.  

He was also a loyal friend, a man who could always be counted on.  Manuel will never be forgotten for his big heart.

He is survived by his wife: Alma Montoya; daughter and son in law Sonia and Rene Renteria; daughter Sandra Montoya;

son Sergio Montoya; grandkids:  Esteban and his wife Daisey, Isaac, Derik, Devan, Mia and Garren; and great granddaughter: Evanie.  All of whom he loved and treasured dearly.
