Malachi Leal

Malachi Josiah Leal, infant son of Meghan Sanchez and Kaleb-J Leal, passed away on Thursday, November 29, 2018, in Andrews.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 pm on Monday, December 3, 2018, at the Sheffield Cemetery with Pastor Carlos Gomez officiating. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home of Crane.

Malachi is survived by his parents, Meghan Sanchez of Sheffield and Kaleb-J Leal of Iraan; his maternal grandparents, Lidia and Armando Sanchez Jr. of Sheffield; paternal grandmother, Adriana Leal of Iraan; maternal great grandparents Pedro Flores of Odessa, and Armando Sanchez Sr. of San Angelo; paternal great grandparents, Vicente and Maria Leal of Iraan; three uncles, Javier Flores and his wife Eleni of Midland, Johnny Leal of Iraan, and Armando Sanchez III of Sheffield; four aunts, Kiahnna “Keke” Leal of Odessa, Mireya Resendez of Sheffield, Tori Sanchez and Madison Sanchez, both of O’Brien, FL; four great aunts, Maria Teresa Berrios of Odessa, Jasmin Leal of Iraan, Veronica “Nini” and her husband Mario Resendez of Sheffield, and Norma Aguero of Rankin; four great uncles, Vicente Leal Jr. of Iraan, David Sanchez and his wife Tonya of Midland, Pete Florez and his wife Carnel of Andrews, and Mark Flores of Sheffield.

Malachi was preceded in death by his maternal great grandmothers Esperansa “Hopie” Flores and Olga Sanchez; and cousin Jessie James Avalos.
