Lynn Croker

Lynn Croker, age 67, of Crane Texas, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on April 24, 2025, after a valiant fight with brain cancer.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, April 29, at the Nichols Funeral Home chapel in Crane, Texas. Burial will follow at the Crane Memorial Cemetery.

Lynn was born in Gorman, Texas to Kenneth Croker and Gladys Jones Croker on December 5, 1957. He attended school in Comanche Texas and graduated in 1976. He married the love of his life, Esther White, on December 30, 1988 in Rankin Texas. Lynn was a pipeline technician for Enterprise Products for twenty-two years. He enjoyed his job and always spoke highly of those he worked with.

Lynn helped others in many ways. He was a registered bone marrow donor and through the years he donated over twenty gallons of blood. Lynn was a member of the Cornerstone UPC in Monahans, Texas where he enjoyed being a door greeter.

He often quoted the scripture “I’d rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked. “ Psalm 84:10

Lynn was preceded in death by his grandparents Charlie and Neva Croker and Claud and Estelle Jones, his dad Kenneth Croker and mom Gladys Jones Croker, his oldest brother Charles and his baby sister Rene.

Lynn is survived by his loving wife, Esther and his daughter Shayla, his sister Carla Gilliam and brother Richard. He is also survived by his mother in law Mary Stuteville and his brothers in law David and Alton White and sister in law Teresa Croker and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews whom he loved dearly.

Pallbearers: Curtis Brown, Robert Edwards, Ronnie Voyles, Victor Tarin, Bobby Gibson, and Tim Kemp.

Honorary pallbearers: Jerry McDaniel, Ed Mosley, Roy Leathers, Larry Cecil, Ted Pittman, and Ronny Pittman.

The family wishes to extend heartfelt gratitude to Home Hospice for the care they have given to our loved one during his final days. We thank Cornerstone UPC of Monahans, Texas and New Life Pentecostal church in Comanche Texas for their love, prayers, and support.
