Lorean Q. Jackson

Lorean Jackson, 97, of Odessa, and formerly of Fort Stockton, and McCamey, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2013, at the Hospice House in Odessa.
Graveside services were held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, October 26, 2013, at the Resthaven Cemetery in McCamey with Reverend Ken Houston officiating. Arrangements were under the care and direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
Lorean was born on November 20, 1915, in Talpa, Texas. She was a retired interior decorator. Lorean had lived in Odessa for past five years, moving from Fort Stockton. She was a Methodist. She was preceded in death by her son, Patrick Moore on September 26, 2013.
Survivors include her daughter, Bodine Johnson of Odessa; two sons, James Moore of Fort Stockton, and Mike Moore of Mooreland, Oklahoma; her sister, Peggy Gould of Coleman, TX; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and 9 great-great grandchildren.
