Mom will always be remembered for allowing her house to play host to many holiday celebrations, her infectious smile and charismatic touch to people both familiar and unfamiliar with, she was known to many, that when in time of need, she would go to any extreme to cook, clean, and run errands for anyone, mother had an impeccable work ethic holding down multiple jobs that sometimes had her working behind a counter into late hours of the night, the joy she gained from working with students both young and old, she loved to cook her huge holiday meals while listening and dancing to her Elvis Presley and Golden Oldies music, and most importantly spending time with and spoiling her grandchildren where she would not take no for an answer (just ask Toys “R” Us). She will continue to live within our hearts and the great memories we all shared will continue to live on through those of us she held dear.
May she finally rest in peace with her maker, which she truly deserves. Her viewing will take place on Monday April 22 from 9am-9pm, Rosary at 7pm in the Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home, followed by her celebration of life on Tuesday, April 23, at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 11am.
