On December 19, 2017, Kerry Dean McReynolds, 62, passed away at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa, TX from complications related to long term illnesses.
He was born on Sept 12, 1955 in Abilene, TX. He hung his hat in McCamey TX living there during childhood and intermittently up until the time of his death. A jack-of-all-trades but a master of none he worked in the oil and ranching industries. He worked hard and retired after 14 years of employment with Sotol. He played hard, shooting the sh** down at Carl's shop and frequenting his favorite getaway destination Terlingua, TX.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Karen Allread McReynolds, mother Elaine McReynolds, sister Tracey Hancock (John) and honorary brother Jimmy Cain. Kerry held a special place in his heart for his children and grandchildren. He leaves behind sons Jimmy McReynolds, Jason McReynolds, and Brant McReynolds, daughters Barbara Martin and Kaycie Darnell(Westley Darnell), twelve grandchildren Baylee, Blake, Autumn, Bryce, Riley, Arianna, Reece, Nathanael, Robin, Ava Brynn, Levi and Presley and two great-grandchildren Lazarus and Holden. He Is preceded in death by adoptive father Robert McReynolds and material grandparents Elden and Una Harrison.
