Juanita Johnston Lively, "Nurse Lively," entered into the presence of her Savior January 1, 2016.
She was born in Little Rock, AR, February 15, 1921, and married the love of her life February 14, 1942. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; their son, Jim; her parents, and sister, Bettie Jo Roark.
She is survived by daughters Sherry "Cher" Lively of Corpus Christi, and Anita Blackwell and husband, Charles of Fredericksburg; grandchildren Jeff Blackwell; Becky Williams and husband, Trey; and seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by niece, B.J. McKennon and husband James, and nephew, Tommy Roark and wife, Dottie.
Nurse Lively worked at the hospital in Iraan until accepting the position as school nurse, which she lovingly served in for 29 years. She touched the lives of countless individuals and will be greatly missed.
Graveside services will be held at 2pm on Monday, January 4, 2016, at the Restland Cemetery in Iraan.
