JUANA G. CARRASCO
CRANE: Juana Carrasco went to dance with her husband Albino on Monday,
December 22, 2008. She was born January 10, 1917 in Shafter, Texas
to Jose and Elena Granado. As the oldest of 12 children in her family
she learned to serve others early in life. She married Albino Carrasco,
the love of her life on March 3, 1947 in Presidio, Texas and was blessed
with two daughters, Elvira and Elida. She was a homemaker. She loved
to dance and she and Albino could always be seen on the dance floor
at the wedding dances. She was known for her superb
cooking and the family usually met each Sunday for lunch around her
table.
She was preceeded in death by her husband, Albino Carrasco, her parents,
Jose and Elena Granado, her sister, Eloisa Molina, and brother,
Apolonio Granado. She is survived by her daughters Elvira Aly and husband Clyde
of Odessa and Elida Sarabia and husband Pete of Crane; grandchildren
Stephanie Brents and husband James of Crane; grandsons Adam Sarabia
and Michael Aly of Odessa, and great grandchildren Macey Sarabia,
Joseph Sarabia, Austin Ramirez, and the soon-to-be appearing Bailey Elizabeth Brents
all of Crane; sisters Pomposa Molina, Elena Garcia, and Delfina Trammel and brother
Manual Granado, all of McCamey: sister Belsora Valenzuela, and brothers Jose
Granado and Felipe Granado all of Odessa, sisters Carmen Wethington of Austin
and Maria Gonzales of Watsonville, California.
The family would like to thank the staff of Regency Hospital for their
outstanding care and understanding.
Rosary is scheduled for 7:00pm Tuesday, December 23 at Shaffer-Nichols
Funeral Home in Crane.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00am Wednesday, December 24 at
Good Shepard Catholic Church in Crane.
