Juan R. Carrillo

Juan R. Carrillo, 90, of McCamey, passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2023, in McCamey.

Juan was born in Zacatecas, Mexico January 13, 1933. 

He came to the United States at 10 years old where he began a life of ranching. He dedicated his life to ranching, training horses and raising his family.

He moved to McCamey in 1968. He loved gardening, deer hunting, and spending time with friends playing cards and pool.

He is survived by his wife Beatriz Carrillo and two daughters San Juana Prado and Velia Prado. He left behind two loving granddaughters Erika Franco and her spouse Jesus Franco and Raquel Prado and her spouse Stephen Barraza. His pride and joy were his great grandchildren Juan and Katalina Barraza and Camila Franco.
