JOYCE McCOLLUM LOWE
ODESSA: Joyce McCollum Lowe 77 of Odessa, passed away on Friday, March 19, 2010 at her residence in Odessa.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at the Crane County Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home of Crane.
Joyce was born on July 4, 1932 in Evansville, Indiana. She was a homemaker and had lived in Odessa and in Kermit for past 57 years. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, the Knights of Columbus, and was a Southern Baptist. Joyce was preceded in death by her first husband, Alton Ray McCollum in April of 1995; and her second husband Bill Lowe in October of 2005.
She is survived by two daughters, Cathy Terry and Barbara Hallmark, both of Odessa; four sons, Terry McCollum of Denton, David McCollum and his wife Sharon, Charles McCollum and his wife Molly, and Robert McCollum, all of Odessa; a brother, Charles Julian of Gilmer, TX; two sisters, Sue Petterson of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Sandy Applegate of Franklin, TN; 17 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
