Joseph Hernandez

Joseph Hernandez, 19, of Crane, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2012 in Lubbock at the University Medical Center.
Rosary will be said at 7:00 PM on Sunday, January 29, 2012 at the Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home Chapel in Crane. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 30, 2012 at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church with Father Larent Mvondo officiating. Burial will follow in the Crane County Cemetery with the arrangements under the care and direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home of Crane.
Joseph was born on September 26, 1992 in Odessa, Texas. He had lived in Crane most all of his life, and he was a member of the Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Joseph was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Hernandez in 1995.
Survivors include his mother, Anita Hernandez of Crane; his sister, Myranda Contreras of Crane; his grandfather, Santiago Hernandez of Odessa; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
