Jose Delfino Guerra

Jose Delfino Guerra, 79, of Crane, passed away on Monday, December 30, 2024, at Odessa Regional Medical Center.

Jose was born on November 24, 1945, in Mexico. He was a longtime resident of Crane. Jose enjoyed working in his yard and spending time with his chickens. Jose was retired from the oilfield where he had worked as a floorhand.

Jose was preceded in death by three sons, Jose Guerra, Onecimo Guerra, and Ramiro Guerra.

Those left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Joaquina Guerra of Crane; his children, Eliazar Guerra of Mexico, David Guerra of Pacen, AZ, Jose Delfino Guerra, Jr. of Mexico, Maricela Guerra and Francisco Guerra, both of Odessa; a brother, Francisco Guerra of Mexico; numerous grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025, at the Nichols Funeral Home in Crane from 10am until 8pm; and on Saturday, January 4, 2025 from 9am until 12pm. Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel at 12pm on Saturday with Reverend Ricardo Leyva officiating. Burial will follow in the Crane County Cemetery.
