Jordan Ray Kneupper

Jordan Ray Kneupper, 38, of McCamey, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2023.

Jordan was born on July 31, 1985, in Fort Stockton, Texas.

He loved all animals and always wanted to try and save them if they were hurt or abandoned. He recently started trying to raise chickens and did hours of research on different breeds. He loved sports and excelled in football and track in high school.

He started kindergarten and graduated from McCamey High School in 2003.  Jordan was the third generation on his mother's side of the family to graduate from McCamey High School.

Jordan loved to work with his hands and could learn most anything if shown a few times more than reading about. Jordan loved the simple things about life. He had a love for his family and friends and would give the shirt off his back to help if he could. There were very few times you ever saw him that he didn’t have a smile on his face or trying to play jokes on someone.

Jordan is survived by his wife Lupe Kneupper.  Two children, a son David Ray Kneupper 18 of Odessa, a daughter Georgieanna Lyn Kneupper 17 of Odessa. His Mother Shari Grisham and her husband Jack of McCamey. His Father Warren Kneupper and his wife Trena of McCamey. His sister Rebakah Hartman and her husband Kyle and their two children Justin and Ella of Pecos. His step siblings, Kristin Vaughn-Ross and husband from Midland and Nathan Vaughn and wife of Tomball. His Nana (Faye Pool) of McCamey, and several Aunts and Uncles and Cousins.

Jordan was preceded in death by his Pawpa Price Pool of McCamey, His Oma, Louella Kneupper of Bakersfield and his Opa Donald Kneupper of Bakersfield, his Uncle Howard Pool.
