Johnny Foster, 70, passed away on January 26, 2023, in Abilene Texas. He was a beloved
father, husband, uncle, and friend who will be deeply missed by everyone that knew him.
Johnny was born on December 3, 1953, in Olney, Texas. He went to school in Archer City and
graduated from Iraan High School in 1973. After he graduated, he pursued a career in the Oil
Field for 32 years. Throughout his career, he was known for his hard work, dedication, and
passion for helping others.
More than anything Johnny was a devoted father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He loved
spending time with his children and grandchildren, sharing stories, playing games, and watching
football on Sundays. He was always there to offer guidance, support, and encouragement,
regardless of the challenges in their lives.
In his free time, Johnny enjoyed going to the lake and the deer lease. He loved to be outside
any chance he got and loved to fish and hunt. He taught the boys how to do the things he loved
as well and gave them the knowledge to pass down to their children. He loved to talk to others
about these topics along with others like his kids and grandkids and how proud he was of them.
He never met a stranger in his life and would talk your ear off if given the chance to do so.
Johnny is preceded in death by his grandson Tyler and Sammy and granddaughter Alana. He is
survived in death by his loving wife Gail, daughter Kanda and husband Tony, daughter Jennifer
and husband Robert, son Brian and wife Maranda, son Dylan and wife Ambor, his fifteen
grandchildren, and his four great-grandchildren. His memory will be cherished by all who knew
him.
Graveside services will be 2:00pm, Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Restland Cemetery in Iraan,TX.
