JoElda Gonzalez Tijerina
JoElda Gonzalez Tijerina of Odessa, TX was a loving wife, mother and nana. She passed away on April 2nd, 2022, at the age of 58. She was born in Iraan, TX and raised in Crane, where she graduated from Crane high School.
JoElda is survived by her husband Adan Tijerina of Odessa, son Rosendo Gonzalez Aguilera Jr., of Odessa, stepdaughter Roslyn Jovana Sanchez of Canyon, stepdaughter Sarina Tijerina of Amarillo, and brother Jessie Gonzalez and wife Rosalinda of Crane. She had a special bond with her grandson Rosendo James Aguilera, along with numerous other loving grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents Jesus and Guadalupe Gonzalez.
JoElda enjoyed spending lots of time with family and friends, she especially enjoyed spending time out on the patio watching her favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys, along with a good cookout with her husband manning the grill. She was always surrounded with her husband, son and grandson making the best of any situation that they got into, but it always led to great memories. She enjoyed watching hallmark movies, listening to music, traveling the U.S. with her husband and would never turn down a good camping adventure. She even had the opportunity to travel to the west coast, walk on the beach, and dip her feet in the Pacific Ocean. She was truly blessed to have her family and friends to share these memories with.
Funeral service will be held at the Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home & Chapel in Crane on Thursday, April 7th and burial followed at Crane County Cemetery.
