Joan Coe, 82, of McCamey, Texas, went to be with The Lord on Monday, September 19, 2016.
Joan was born in May, Texas on August 15, 1934 to William and Reba Wagnon. Joan graduated from May High school in 1951 and attended Odessa College. In 1956 Joan met her sweet heart, Coy, on a blind date. Coy and Joan wed on August 25, 1956. Joan worked in the clerical field in medical, legal, and tax collecting. She retired from the Upton County Appraisal District.
Joan loved Jesus, never met a stranger, loved to talk, and would do anything for anyone.
Joan leaves behind two sons, Rick Coe and wife Sandy of Odessa, TX, Alan Coe and wife Kim of Amarillo, TX, five grandchildren Seth Coe and wife Lindsay of Amarillo, TX, Sara Bass and husband Christian of Amarillo, TX, Holly Bowman of Plano, TX, Steven Hickman of Odessa, TX, and Shawn Williams of Post, TX, four great-grandchildren, Jayton Seth Coe, Lilyanne Grace Coe, and Jedidiah Coe Bass all of Amarillo, and Matt Williams of Odessa, TX. She has two remaining brothers, Billy Wagnon and wife Lynell of Garland, TX and Eddy Wagnon and wife Gloria of Folsom, CA. Joan is proceeded in death by her husband Coy and her parents. Special thanks to Gloria Odom and Christy Hickman for all the love and support throughout the years.
Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 23, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church in McCamey, TX.
