Jimmy Glee Slater (Slater)

Jimmy Glee Slater, 37, of Crane, passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2016, at his home in Crane.

Funeral services will be held at 9:00 AM on Friday, August 26, 2016, at the Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home Chapel in Crane with Tommy Parker officiating. Burial will follow in the Crane County Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.

Jimmy was born on September 19, 1978, in Crane. He had lived in Crane most all of his life. Jimmy was a member of the Tabernacle Baptist Church and he was an air compressor mechanic. Jimmy loved guns, mechanics, and playing PlayStation with his son Joshua.

He was preceded in death by grandfather, Jimmie Glee Slater; and his Grandmother, Carolyn Schulz.

Jimmy is survived by his son, Joshua Glee Slater of Graford, TX; his parents, Gene and Ginger Slater of Crane; his grandmother, Ella Mae Slater of Crane; a brother, Michael Gene Slater also of Crane; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
