Jimmy Charles Harrison, Jr., 45, of Crane, passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2015, in Crane.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 30, 2015, at the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Crane with Pastor Tim King officiating. Burial will follow in the Crane County Cemetery with arrangements under the care and direction of Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home.
Jimmy was born on June 27, 1970, in Oceanside, CA. He was a longtime resident of Crane, and had worked in the oilfield for Rowan Drilling.
Jimmy enjoyed working on cars, fishing, and playing darts, but most of all spending time with his children and grandchildren. Jimmy was a Baptist.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kathryn Harrison, Raymond Wheelock and Fontella Wheelock Wren; and a grandson, Aiden Townsend.
Jimmy is survived by his fiancé, Angie Haught; parents, Jimmy Charles Harrison Sr. and Doreen Harrison; two daughters, Ashley Townsend and her husband Christopher, and Alyssa Harrison; grandchildren, Zoey Townsend, and Andrew Martinez; his sister, Joyce Sutherland and her husband Will, all of Crane.
Jimmy is also survived by his grandfather, Benson Charles Harrison of Roswell, NM; a nephew, Ben Sutherland and his wife Amanda of Crane; and one niece, Summer Sutherland of Midland.
