Jewell Taylor, 86 of Crane, Texas went to be with the Lord on March 5th, 2018.
Jewell was born January 31, 1932 in Morrilton, Arkansas to Mr. and Mrs. John Haston. After graduating from Paducah High School she moved to Lubbock, TX where met and wed the love of her life, Wendell Taylor. After raising 3 children Jewell went back to school and became a successful real estate agent for Crane Reality.
She was a long time member of the First United Methodist Church where she assisted with 4 Days for Others, the Food Pantry, and had served on numerous committees. Since Jewell was a breast cancer survivor she found it very important to hold a chair position and be very involved with the local American Cancer Society.
Jewell was always outgoing, loved people, and had a heart of gold.
She enjoyed going the Senior Center, painting, traveling, and most of all spending time with friends, family, and being a "Gran".
Jewell was proceeded in death by her loving husband Wendell Taylor and daughter Linda Taylor.

Visitation will be held at the Shaffer-Nichols Funeral home in Crane, Texas on Thursday March 8th from 5pm-7pm. Funeral services will be held at the First United Methodist Church on Friday March 9th at 2pm with burial to follow at Crane County Cemetery.
