Jennifer Haley Tavarez, 34, of Crane, Texas was born on September 21,1986, in Odessa, Texas. Jennifer ended her battle with cancer on Saturday, June 19, 2021, surrounded by people that loved her.
Jennifer is preceded in death by her Uncle Julio “Bear” Carrasco and Grandmother Esther “Nana” Wilson. She is survived by her mother and stepdad, Mary and Tim Romeiser, her father and stepmom, Mark Woodfin and Denise Esquivel. Grandparents Julio and Anita “Anna” Carrasco, Doug and Nell Woodfin, and Robert “Papa” Wilson. Sister, Emilie Park. Sister and brother-in-law, Stormie and Marcos Rodriguez. Brother and sister-in-law Tyler and Jessica Woodfin. Stepsisters LeAnna Barrandey and Emily Romeiser, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and was the proud Nannie to Boston, Jeter, and Ryker Rodriguez and Paislee Woodfin.
Jennifer had a kind heart and a giving soul. She enjoyed baking, jet skiing, worshiping, and spending time with her youngest sister Emilie, niece, and nephews. Jennifer shared her love with many people and inspired many lives. She truly was a comforting and compassionate Daughter, Granddaughter, Nannie and Friend.
Viewing starts Monday evening June 21,2021, around 5 p.m. at Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home. Rosary will be held Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Shaffer-Nichols Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral Mass will be held at Good Sheppard Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 23, 2021, followed by a graveside service.
